The Yellow Triangle.

Recently a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark has appeared on my toolbar... It doesn't seem to have caused any problems, but it still is worrying just being there...

It does nothing when clicking (left or right) on it, thus I cannot provide any more information on it...

Some help would be appreciated..

Thanks very much!

(P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it!)

Is there a balloon message that comes up when you hover your mouse over it?

Have you restarted your computer after it appeared?

Re: The Yellow Triangle.

Feelin' kinda silly now - it's gone... For now..

But it's still a sort of worry as to why it was there.

Re: The Yellow Triangle.

Seems to me like MS wanted to tell you something, but then changed it's mind If it wasn't doing anything and you could notice any changes in the operation of your computer, then don't worry about it.

Re: The Yellow Triangle.

Hi,

It sounds like a malware or a trojan, I had and seen them in the past, I would scan for Malware, Spyware, Trojans other virus, I would use online scanners that what i did and they removed it, I used Mcafee online scanner and Panda.

Then i would do a HighJack This Thread just incase.
