cannot access email accounts
hi all,
i have encountered a problem with my pc, and that is not being able to access any email accounts, wether it is a hotmail, yahoo ect that is any email account, and a worm is trying to use email which mcafee blocks, and on start up of pc mcafee finds a trojan called zapchast.reg and removes it, only for it star up again and again on every restar, found this to knock out some windows security and updates. was this the cause for no email access? i have a emachine 5420 os is xp home edition, and have used endless spyware/virus removers like mcafee, xoftspy, spy doctor, avg, spybot, spy no more. lavasoft adware and no joy in removing this did some searching on web about it and it seems a problem for many poeple, tried many suggestions from many a forums, and no joy with many peeps looking at hjt scan, combo scan, sdfix ect ect , and no joy. only working way for me and the quickest to remove these problems was a reformat. and start again, you might as well for the time it takes about 12hrs to for me, oppossed to search the web for 5 days and trying that way. hope ya all backed up. is there anything out that can repair this ![]()
