I am going 2 pass 4 now; I lke his last build just fine. but for anyone interested....

Just to let you know version CCleaner v2.0 beta has been released and is available for download at:

Warning: This is beta software, so we don't recommend you install it, unless you accept and understand that this version may not work 100% as intended.
We suggest that most users wait until the final release is made available.


This new version changes the following:

- Complete rebuild in C++
With the requirements for a portable version, 64-bit compatibility and Windows Vista increasing against the limitations of the old architecture. We decided to rebuild the entire CCleaner application in highly optimized C++.

- Faster analyzing and cleaning
Each scanning process was rewritten from scratch and fully optimized. The result being a noticeable speed increase in all areas.

- Portable
CCleaner can now run from a USB thumbdrive and be installed/run on a computer without a complicated setup process.

- Compact
The rewrite removed all external file dependencies, so the main EXE is now half the size of the original program and support files.

- Redesigned User Interface
The original CCleaner user interface was looking a little dated, so the GUI was redesigned with a modern look, but without sacrificing speed or usability. New icons were created for the interface and the main program icon was updated with a more modern style.

- Exclusions
It is now possible to specify files, folders and registry keys to ignore from the cleaning process.

- Loads of little tweaks
Too numerous to mention them all separately, we've tried to improve CCleaner in all areas.

I quit using CCleaner, but I know some people who use it. I'll let em' know. Thanks for the news flash.

C? i ADORE CCleaner. And I also adore Advanced Windows Care from iobit....and 7 other utilties I would not B without. I sent the CCleaner guy money way back. Cause I can't take advantage....has nothing 2 do with money, I am no way rich or about living large.I go for the joy.

I maybe even might try his new beta. Cause I am reckless, OK? (Not really and not always) And today appears BETA DAY! But I can't find one downside to his software.....and it is among the most downloaded freewares in history and that is consistent, and I believe, deserved.

Well, I think I will give it a shot. I need something to replace EasyCleaner anyway. Also I only got rid of CCleaner was to use EasyCleaner because I thought it was better, man was I way wrong. It takes too long and hangs a lot.

C this? I use Easy Cleaner too! I use everythng I have tested and find is useful in concert with everythng else. But I use it rarely.

I suggest CLEANUP! wARPSPEED, COMPLETELY EFFECTIVE, U WILL LUV IT. i WILL GET A LINK.

OKay! I just got it and ran it. I think the MUI cache thingy is new....I think the reg part now called reg and not Issues is betah.....but I totally hate the gray ON THE NEW INTERFACE. HATE.

It is CLAUSTROPHOBIC. Wut was he thinking? It is aesthetically OFF. Ok, he is not a graphics guy, he is just a hugely generous software genius guy. So I will learn 2 live with the gray.

It is adorable....but I liked his last build 2.

I will make a list of my utilities.

Thanks, I agree, he could have gone with something a little less depressing, but hey, it's free and it's good and trustworthy, can't argue with that.

Right.....every other build he's produced....and I luv he is nevah satisfied with my version of perfection....has had a simple, monochromatic interface. 2 bad we can't change these things using PAINT.

But U gotta both respect and luv this guy. Pure lifeforce and real genius and intact heart.

Again, most downloaded freeware on the planet.

All of the above freewares except for those I have marked registered, and having been a tester on AWC for almost a year, Hugo and the guys at iobit gave me a free license for the Pro….though they have free version & it is fabulous. Linderman here (Joseph) agrees and posted after my review and his testing it. It has gotten mega starts all over the net. It has many components and the fastest engine anyone has seen. They also make me a talking panda video for Xmas. His mouth moves like in the movies & he says, Merry Christmas, we luv U Jilly. I luv it V much. I am an infant.

I no longer use either Ad-Aware or Spybot....I tested carefully and came 2 I no longer need either though both r excellent.

I am thrilled 4 U and think U will luv all of them! Fnd Junk files, which comprises several separate and fine utilities also has one which has pie chart showing U everything in yr system and wut percentage every category occupies. I nevah use it. But I keep it cause it is pretty. So many goodies in one little file! And each has its own icon!

Adam....soon God will send U broadband. Cause U deserve it.
