Well, Norton is a known resource hog, but reasonable at detection. OneCare seems to have improved from earlier versions but still lags behind the well known players such as Kaspersky and NOD32 etc.

Norton is a MAJOR resource hog, and in my opinion, takes too much control of my computer.
