Whats the cause?
For sometime now ive been getting spammed like this and thats from just scrolling down a webpage
the problem seems to be with the nvcpl.dll file now drivers, reformats do nothing so of course its a hardware issue which went from a little issue now into this if i scroll my processes will get spammed with rundll.exe also this is in the event viewer under system and there is alot of entries So the aux would be the molex thats at the back of the graphics card although it seems to be working fine since the card is being powered but what makes it more stupid if i was to start a game it would be horrid to run but after 1min it will be fine like yesterday it was fine running half life 2 it started at 10fps then shot up to 80 and stayed between that and 110 So either its the graphics card or psu or possibly something else specs 2.8Ghz P4 1GB PC2700 80GB Hdd Nvidia 7600gs DVD R/W Asrock Motherboard 400W PSU Any ideas is too what is causing this hopefully its not the graphics card itself since i hate sending parts back getting a new pc soon but of course this one needs to hold out since its needed for work ![]() any suggestions? |

Re: Whats the cause?
G'Day Labyrinth,
This looks more like a 'hijack' from some very sinister spyware. I recommend that you go here; read and follow the instructions very carefully; then, post all the requested logs and information; as instructed, to here. (Click on the coloured links.) Please create a new thread in the HiJackThis Log Help Forum and not back in this one.. When you are carrying out The 5 Steps, if you cannot complete any of them for whatever reason, just make mention of the fact in your post to The HJT Help Forum; an Analyst will assist you with other workarounds. Once done, please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can. In the meantime, I will transfer you to the General Computer Security Forum, where one of the Security Team will also preview it. Good Luck with it. Kind Regards,
