Information stored on flash drive
What is the best way password protect a flash disc containing say a directory of phone numbers?
I have one or two ideas in mind but prefer to hear what more knowledgable people recommend. TIA |

Re: Information stored on flash drive
You can use some software like TrueCrypt which will encrypt all the data on the flash drive and when you want to access it you input a password/decryption key

Re: Information stored on flash drive
TrueCrypt will do it (although not exactly but better). Create a volume on the disc that can only be mounted as a drive using a keyfile and/or strong password, with a good level of data and hash encryption.
But if you lose the password//keyfile, you can forget about ever getting your data back.
