ZoneAlarm Lock & Stop
Was just looking at ZoneAlarm's options and noticed the Lock and Stop features. I was just wondering what the difference between them was and what situation I might use them in?
Thanks Lauren |

Re: ZoneAlarm Lock & Stop
Hello Lauren and welcome to TSF
![]() The feature for the Lock option, is to complete 'Lock Down' of all internet access to the computer, which means you or any programs can you the internet. If a password is set it will prompt for a password when trying to unlock. This option would be best used if you got a virus and you wanted to lock down your internet and machine The Stop option is just to stop the access to the internet, it is not as powerfull as the Lock but pretty much does the same thing. I hope this information helps you. |
