Removing custom plug ins
I've been having an on going problem with my yahoo messenger: whenever I try to sign on with my main screenname I get an error message and yahoo shuts down. I think I now know why: it's because of a custom plug in I installed. I uninstalled it after I realized it was a waste of space and my problems started soon after.
How can I completely remove the plug in and repair my messenger? Should I run a virus scanner? Delete the folders? |

Re: Removing custom plug ins
Hi
If you've removed an application plugin, best way would be to uninstall the entire program and reinstall it - The data sections are separate from the program installation directory and shouldn't be lost. |
