New Spam Threat? "SoundSugar"

I've been getting a lot of useless e-mails for a listserv called SoundSugar that I never subscribed to. (Obviously, I've tried unsubscribing several times: still no luck.)
Anyone else come across this?

I assume you just ended up on mailing list, what kind of email do you use? GMAIL,HOTMAIL, etc.

When you unsubscribe from spam mail, that just lets them know your account is in use, so you get even more spam. In future, don't respond to any unsolicited email. Now you're on their list, add SoundSugar to your email filters so all their emails are deleted at the server, and you'll never see them again.

Everything seems to be going better. There was a flood of e-mails and now it's stopped. Anyway, it was just very annoying. (By the way, I'm using Netzero and Lycos now).
