Change as good as a pest

Hello all, a scan of my computer has revealed three 'changes' [AVG free] ; kernel32.dll, user32.dll, ntoskml.exe. all three are in C:\WINDOWS\system32. Kernel32 is reported to be 'Added by the WEKODE-A WORM!' and ' Typically viruses, spyware, adware and resource hogs.' The others have been showing as 'changed' for a while now and a search at the time told me it wasn't a problem. Anyway can anyone tell me what to do please

Hi

Those files will have been amended as part of Microsofts Update patches - AVG is just letting you know. As long as they are in the System32 folder then you should be OK. All 3 are critcial system files. Do you have any symptoms of infection such as pop ups, browser redirects, random shutdowns etc?

You should be OK then - it's just the changes as I described above.
