Repeat Emails!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
My Mom reported receiving MANY duplicate emails and before I could get over there to check it out, it's happening to me too.
Any word on removal or origin?
THX

Hello
It sounds like spam. What are the emails about? what security programs do you have installed? What program are you using for your emails?

Re: Repeat Emails!!!!!!!!!!!

you probably already know this, but email attachments are one of the most common ways to get infected.

The emails are from people I know and in some cases are resposes from emails I have sent. I'll get one, and then 3 or 4 more of the same one. I never get spam anymore. "knock on...."
Could it mean one of my friends has a problem in their address book?

I use:
Outlook
PC-cillian Sec. Suite 2007
AVG Virus
Ad-Aware
Spybot
Zone Alarm
and good 'ol Wind. Updates

I update reg., & run them all reg.

This is an at home workgroup w/ just one other computer attached. I also run the above on her's reg.

I am wireless but my Mom is not. I didn't start getting them until Mom sent me an email telling me about them.
She never sends to more than one person at a time. She has one reg. guy who sends her stuff along w/ a large number of others.

I do send multiples often, generally business.

Mom rarely runs any of her security software, 'cuz I can't get her to understand how to do it.
THX for your time
