Who's turning my system volume off?
The past week, my system volume keeps getting turned off and not by me. I usually don't notice it until I try to play a song or video and there is no sound. Now that I am aware it is happening, I check at boot up and it is always turned off. But the last time at boot up, when I checked and it was turned off, I moved the slider back up but it went down again. Over and over again I moved it up and it went right back down again like it was fighting me. Then I closed the sound controls and opened them up again and slid it up and that time it went up. Somethings up I know but I can't locate the problem. System mechanic recently found a keylogger on my system and removed it. But I run scans with spybot and adware. They always come up clean. I have Avast Anti Virus software running , Spyware blaster and Spyguard. Plus nolop whatever. Now I have Zone Alarm firewall. I mean geez. What more do they want from me
Anyhow, any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks. |
