performance centre?
Hi again, I tried downloading both programs from Microcells 5 steps but it wasn't helpful I didn't have any of the programs in the list to uninstall or remove. Step 2 had a few programs so I didn't know if I was suppose to pick one and do a free scan and post it in a log for you to see? I've done a few free scans even tried to buy Spyware Doctor but for some reason it wouldn't let me. I am beyond frustrated my computer seems to get worse every day. sometimes my taskbar starts to disappear and there's a blue bar at the top of the screen or I'll go to open my recycle bin to empty it and a piece of it will open and nothing inside when I run my cursor along the top the red X will appear and sometimes it will let me close it and sometimes not. Please help if you can!! My computer went to the manufacturers and came back worse.

Re: performance centre?
i scan with several different programmes. when i do i pause protection with my residential AV, so that there is no conflict. if you use safe mode, you won't have to worry about conflicts. even if the AV can't remove the malware, detection is still important, because there are specialized removal tools for free, if you know where to look. many times, people here can help you with that.
it's just as important, for you, to post a hijackthis log in the proper forum. this is your best weapon to clean your system. |

Re: performance centre?
Hi ejames82 I did receive another reply from another Tech but he gave me this website that was suppose to have 5 steps the first of which gives you a list of Malware programs to delete or remove with your Add/Remove. Well I didn't have any of the programs listed. Step 2 was just a link to this other site that said two download these two programs which I did he told me to click on something to the left which wasn't there and then there were no more steps. I can't find those two program I download. I would like to know if Spyware Doctor is ok I already have Registry Mechanic. I use Trend Micro PC-Cillin Anti-Spyware but it's says no viruses or suspicous software. There is something wrong big time and it seems to be getting worse. I use Google as my Home Page and I have custimized it is Google ok? I am ready to chuck my computer out the window I need it everyday I need to find out what's going on. It's not even a year old. Just now while I am typing it took a second for the letter I typed. It wants me to re-install the Performance Center whatever that is! .
If you or anyone has any more ideas please if you can talk me through it I am not sure about using Safe Mode or what AV protection is. I learn fast if the instructions are step by step and I do know how to start in Safe Mode but not sure past that.

Re: performance centre?
Hello, JanineWigmore -
You're posting all over the forums for the same issue. It's been answered in more than one place. ApcMAIN/ Performance Centre performance centre? Stick to one thread per issue, please. This one is closed.
