services.exe..2 of them? and shutting down

Hello, two days ago while I went browsing a layout site, suddenly my antivirus started to go nuts and flash windows at me of this and that trojan and worms being loaded. I couldn't shut the puter off but pulled the plug on my internet connection to stop it. Today finally after fighting with the puter for two days I have it somewhat cleaned. (yes I had been running regular antivirus scans etc) well while methodically going through every file and program on my puter it started to do two things. when I ran noadware it would get almost all the way through and shut off the puter.
the second being that out of the blue I will get a windows error dealing with services.exe(yes with an S) the numbers 1703741819 and it tells me it will shut the puter off.
Now I went into windows/system32 folder and I have 2 services.exe. (yes both have S at the end) One that shows a lil icon next to it of two gears the other just an exe box (generic Icon) they are of differing sizes but..I do not recall having two before and fear I have no idea how to tell which is good which is bad as both show a microsoft name.
Please help?
OH and safe mode wont load at all for me and "find"(search) wont work either infact all that shows up in the side bar for that is the lil yellow dog but no text area at all.
