Hey guys.
I have a few questions to ask today. 1) When people say inbound traffic (firewall speaking) is that mean im being hacked or is that a bad thing? 2) In my norton secuirty 2007 I look under the security history and under the firewall it tells me that 84.123.151.119 was blocked from accessing your computer, norton blocked it but it's under inbound so it's low level threat. It also lets me trust or restrict it. I got no idea what to do so I made a new account here hoping somone could help Many Thanks Alin B. |

Re: Am I being hacked? Or is it normal..?
Hi alin and welcome to TSF.
Sounds like Norton is simply doing its job. Hackers will look for any computer that allows them access - this means they will send of small packets of information and see if anyone responds. A good firewall will simply ignore such requests - it then appears, to the hackers, that your system simply doesn't exist. I use ZoneAlarm and to date it has blocked over 500,000 intrusion attempts - which is what it's meant to do. Use the links that ejames82 provided to look up the details - it appears to be a Spanish website. The golden rule - if you don't know them or can't think why they would want access to your system, say NO!! Also have a read of this article. PC Safety and Security--What Do I Need?
