McAfee problems

Hi there - yesterday I deleted AVG and installed my free McAfee I got as a Sky Broadband customer. Since then I haven't been able to sign into such sites as ebay, myspace. ebay tech support told me to change my browser setting which I did but it makes no difference. Even the McAfee website tells me to enable cookies but they are ALREADY enabled! If anyone can help in layman's terms I'll be v. grateful!

My System

Hi, welcome to TSF

I'm also on Sky broadband and use AVG and the Comodo firewall. The first thing I did when installing the Sky software was to disable McAfee as AVG is a better option.

Check in McAfee to see if it is blocking scripts, ActiveX controls, java, etc.

Have you tried connecting with McAfee temporarily disabled or set to minimum security settings?
