Mistake BIOS virus?

Hello, i have a problem with a pc and don't know what type of virus it is and how to solv the problem. When I turn on my pc it does nothing just says the words " Your computer may have a problem" even the monitor is not turning on i tryied to load Bootable disk but the bios is not starting how i see because i can't even access the bios setup because i can't see the monitor screen it's black and the LED shows it's not active. Any one know the type of virus or a solution how to fix this it would be great. Thx for any help.

P.S I tried replacing battery still no use of it...

i don't think that a virus has any effect on the monitor. i am sure i will be corrected, if i am wrong. maybe it's just coincidence that the monitor crapped out at the same time that you have a serious problem with the tower. the last time i had a monitor crap out, i bought two at the local pawn shop for $15 a piece, so that i would always have a spare.
