An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
The best medicine for this sort of thing is to not let
it happen in the first place. Here is what I do: Go to the tools menu in the Firefox Web Browser. select options, and then select content. Uncheck "enable Javascript" option. That way, you will foil the plans of almost every malicious website designer. You get raw inactive data that can't harm your computer, just like looking at a newspaper page. (the letters or pictures can't run, dodge, execute, hide, shoot at you, throw grenades etc.) -how the web used to be If you just don't trust a site but are curious -always do this. It is a superior shield. REMEMBER: Turn it back on for normal popular well-known sites, and always clear your cookies after visiting Banks. Last edited by Vikesrock8411; 11-08-2006 at 07:44 PM.
