Virus/Spyware problem with Vista RC1
I have a spyware program TSPY_Zlob on my computer and can't get rid of it. I managed to download it along with 'VirusBursters' while not paying attention to what I was doing. This has also set my IE homepage to IEsecurepage.com. All the time while I am using my computer a window appears saying "Windows Explorer has stopped working" followed by "Windows Explorer is restarting...". I can't start any programs from the desktop but can use Task Manager to start programs. I have run scans with Windows Defender which say they remove Zlob but they don't. I'm using Trend Micro (Vista version) and have run a spyware scan manually but can't run any other scans.
I've tried a system restore but the last restore date is yesterday after this problem occured. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don. |
