O Jeeeze

Hi (for a change);

Cybergod must be testing me; in HJT forum, I saw something interesting in a pundit's sig.....SNOOPFREEZE.....as opposed to Snoop Dogggggg.

Knew it was good, got it......and it right off told me that one of wut I thought were the core AOL files was tracking my keystrokes!!!!!!!! And that is was a very big deal it said.

Am attaching a shot of the snoop dogg interface.

All this time? On all my systems? And no other utility picked it up, not one? Including weekly visits to House Call and now Panda????? Is this a false positive? I disallowed it....and things R still working.....but I am getting nauseated ; the more I learn the more disgusting & sneaky & dangerous I find.....I thought, over time I had chosen V good utilities.

I will wait for an expert take on this, know all the volunteer pundits/angels are scrambling........am hating windows more and more now every day.

Thanks,
Jill
Edit; I C this new utillitiy give U the option of destroying a file as opposed to asking U if U want to allow access. I feel like doing the former.....but I will wait for someone with a brain to weigh in. i just dunno anymore.

Am waiting for permission to kill

Heads up, all AOL users re the above, & pls see attached, "
illegal KB hook" now at least being blocked......but they must know my CC #s passwords......everything!!!!!!

I will wait for permission to kill this file.....meaning there would be no downside re ISP functioning.....because I have no clue.

Bless U,
Jilly

SnoopFree is doing its job - alerting you to the fact that an application is requesting to read your keyboard. I personally think you did the right thing and blocked AOL - why should they need to know what you are typing?

If you are concerned about passwords then change them now. You should change passwords on a regular basis anyway - it's just good security.

Glas!!

Why should they? Because it's part of the Patriol Act now, in Constitution-abrogated America, I assume. Total merde.

But....can I use Snoop to actually kill the file? Meaning....does it have some application WITHIN THE isp other than SPYING?
And Bless U 4 gifting me with SNOOP!!!!!!!!!

I did, recently change my W PW on desktop; but changing it within AOL, given this is THEIR FILE, WILL DO NOTHING, RIGHT? I want 2 know if I can kill it forevah.....save Snoop some enegy.

A guy with a TARTAN....knows the answer 2 this, OK?

Jilly

I've never killed any files using SnoopFree and I suggest you don't either. Just blocking access to your keyboard is all you need to do.

Have giant thread here somewhere.....and within it, the issue of that I was told by a mod on another site that my buying 80gb Hitachi for backup.....was insane, it was Deathstar, satan......and a mod HERE....BLESS HIM, GAVE ME THE ACCURATE INFO.

Thanks again,
Jill
