Using Multiple Spyware & Virus Scan

Is it ok to use multiple spyware applications without them getting confused and messed up?

Also, I have Trend Micro Office Scan on my computer, will something like AVG and or Avast interfere with the Trend scan?

Thank you!

If that Trend Micro scan is an online scanner that is only installing an Active- X control, it won't be a problem with your resident anti-virus. However, two resident anti-virus programs are bad news for your computer's health.
