Laptop in start up shut down cycle, can't stop it!
My daughters laptop wasn't working properly so I installed Adaware and spybot and also Avast antivirus, all three programs found problems, including 16 viruses and 389 spyware etc. Just did this yesterday and it was working fine until today. Now it switches itself off every single time we turn it on, it stays connected for a few minutes and then a blue screen flashes up for 2 seconds and then it switches off and restarts, it is in a cycle and I don't know how to make it stop! I can't really tell you what the blue screen says, it flashes on and off so quickly, it is the full screen with a whole page a white writing. I tried to start the 5 step process to do a Hijack this log but can't go any further. I tried starting it up in safe mode but it wont connect to the internet when I do.
Each time it restarts, the Avast warning comes up to say it has detected a virus, I have tried clicking 'heal' which makes it go away but each time it re-starts it comes back up, I then tried sending the infected file to the "virus vault" but it is still there again the next time it restarts. In the time it has taken me to type this it has started up and shut down ar least 5 times. It also pops up several times with the "Internet explorer has encountered a problem etc etc" Any ideas? Thanks. |
