malware i can't get rid of! pop ups :(
Okay, its not like im one of those people that doesnt know whats going on. Here's whats up. I've scanned with spybot, ad-aware, advast!, and AVG. All up to date.
I Have two "iexplore.exe"s running. Now, i dont use internet explorer, i use firefox. So when i saw these in my processes, i wanted to delete them. When i tried, they wouldnt go away. I did notice that when i tried to end them, that a different little process poped up for a second, so i got a screenshot of it, as well as the two "iexplore.exe"s. Now to what they are doing. Though im using firefox, they are still giving me pop ups(that are using ie). Probably every 3rd or 4th website i go to, i get one of these pop ups. Although i have adware's ad-watch running, and it'll get rid of the pop ups when they come. I'd still rather them not come. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi.,
Please follow MicroBell's 5 Step process outlined here After running through all the steps, best thing to do is have one of the HijackThis helpers take a look at a log and begin the cleansing. Please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Double-click on the file you just downloaded. Click on the "Unzip" button to install. It will by default install to the directory - C:\PROGRAM FILES\HIJACKTHIS\ Double click on HijackThis.exe to run the program. 1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'. 2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log. 3. Post the hijackthis.log file in the HijackThis Log Help forum. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.
