Scan notification by Norton AV?

I have an irritating problem I hope someone can help with. I periodically get a pop-up in the notification area that Norton is scanning a file. What's driving me crazy is although the pop-up has an OK button it doesn't stay up long enough to see what file is being scanned.
Is there a way to keep it up long enough to read. I've tried to click on it but it drops away too fast. Any suggestions will be welcome.
Thanks,
T.

Click on NAV and then look under reports. It should tell you in there.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked reports but found nothing. I think NAV only lists them if they are a threat. I managed to read one of the pop-ups and the file being scanned was "wuredir.cab.bak". I looked it up and it's nothing to worry about but there are other files that get scanned also. I'm guessing they are not threats, just things NAV is checking, but the pop-up drives me crazy
If I can't keep it up long enough to read what file it's scanning I'd be happy to disable the pop-up but can't find a way to even do that. Any suggestions?
Thanks
T.

You can try Norton's site or e-mail customer service, but I really think you're stuck with it.

Just posting back with results. Symantec sent me a bunch of ways to find and eliminate the "infected" files I was being notified about. They did suggest a screenshot of the notifications and I discovered the Auto-Protect was causing the pop-ups during normal scans before allowing applications to run.

FYI: After digging around a bit I found how to turn them off. NAV Options>System Auto-Protect>Advanced>What to do when scanning compressed files. Uncheck Display alert when application is blocked.

I'm finally free of the pop-up notifications Hope this helps anyone else who wants to get rid of them.
