Hi,
I am worried that someone has placed some kind of keylogger in my PC and is tracking it remotely. I have reasons to believe so, because the person who is doing this seems to know what I am chatting or writing in my PC. Is there any way I can find this out in my PC and eliminate the threat? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Also consider the program you are using for chatting. Most programs have the option to log chats. If you're using a program such as yahoo messenger take a look through the options and/or preferences and see if there are any options for saving log files. In this instance the person would have to have physical access to your computer.

Well jnob, I dont save the chats in my local PC and the person doesnt have any access to my PC also.
I was discussing this issue with one my friends the other day and he suggested that someone might be using Keylogger. I searched the internet and found that remote keylogging can be done. The program mails the key presses in a text file to the remote PC through internet in regular intervals. The thing that worries me more is that antivirus cannot detect the program. Ayan |

Have you downloaded any programs or clicked on any links provided by the person you believe is spying on you. They would have to get the keylogger installed somehow. If no one can find anything in your Hijack this log and you believe you may have run an infected program or clicked an infected link that could have installed the keylogger on your system, I would back up necessary files such as improtant documents, pics, etc. then wipe and reload the operating system.
