I wouldn't personaly trust ethier. I wouldn't go for a Microsoft Anti-spyware/malware/virsus software. If they programmed the OS good in the first place, it wouldn't be required!

Windows Defender is beta 2 of Microsoft AntiSpyware which is beta 1, they are both the same program.

EDIT: Joefireline has a good point.

BTW, you can't download Microsoft AntiSpyware anyway, its now Windows Defender.

I know both are the same product. I personaly liked MSAS Beta 1 better than the Beta 2 now called Windows Defender.
