w32/IRCbot.worm PLEASE HELP
I know very little about computers or viruses so this question may seem very stupid. My old laptop was infected with the w32/IRCbot.worm virus which causes it to continuously reboot. I cannot start windows in safemode or any other way. I have looked online for hours to try to find out step by step how to get rid of this virus. Everything says download and run the Stinger program. The problem is that I cannot start windows to download this. There may be a very simple solution, i have no clue. If anybody could please help and give me a step by step way of solving this problem so I could get that computer up and running again I would really appriciate it. Please use very general computer terms too since I am fairly computer illiterate. Thank you very much.
