New Outlook message appearing

Need a confirmation as to whether or not what I'm experienceing is malicious or not. In outlook when I hit the icon for a new mail message I recieve the following prompt:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected it could be a virus and you should choose NO."

The past couple of days I recieved some aid removing some malware and was told to download all critical updates. Could this message be due to these updates or does it sound suspicious? I've ran several scans with nothing found and computer is running smoothly. Any help is appreciated as always.

It's a "security" feature of Outlook. More of a pain to me. I have not noticed it when clicking new message, though, only when correcting spam (from Norton AntiSpam). I donloaded this to stop it from showing that message. It allows you to see what program (Usually DLL plugin) is causing the alert.
