Firefox finds more pesky bugs

Mozilla Corporation has released a new version of Firefox in order to remove a bug found just a week after an updated version of the browser was released.

Firefox 3.09 was released last Wednesday. It fixed nine security holes, one of which was considered "critical". It was also meant to be more stable than previous versions.

But within a week this has been replaced by Firefox 3.0.10. This fixes security bugs and a crashing issue when the browser is used to view page source code using certain extensions, particularly HTML Validator. The crashes could cause memory corruption which has created security problems in the past.

Developers explained that while fixing a previous bug they may have introduced the new glitch.

The new version went up earlier in the week and most browsers will already have been automatically updated.

I found that odd how Firefox 3.10 went up so fast too. I'm just glad they're very fast on fixing the bugs.

Yeah, I think when you have such a popular program and bugs are inside of it, you're going to spend most your time trying to fix them.
