The polls are out. Where does your team rank?

My team is ranked 3rd and poised to go to it's 4th title game in 7 years.

Lousy 18th...unless I root for Texas and then 10th

At least both my teams are ranked to start with. Hopefully TN will have a better running game this season, they really stunk it up, when it mattered, on the ground last year.

Texas Longhorns all the way!!

10th isn't that bad considering the season they had last year.

Hopefully Colt McCoy comes out of his 'sophomore slump' he had last year.

Yeah, TEXAS all the way!! And the Big 12 is strongest conference pre-season:
Big 12 = 3 in top ten, 5 in top fifteen !!
Big 10 = 5 in top twenty-four
SEC = 4 in top eighteen
ACC = 4 in top twenty-three
Pac 10 = 3 in top twenty

since I really aint into college football, I will say that both of the teams from my state aint even ranked or received any votes.

I wish they would let teams play cross conference games more. I would like to see UT play UT (you can't tell but those are actually two different colors of orange).

Meaningless. In fact, preseason ranking are worse than meaningless. They're a negative. Say a team is ranked #3 preseason and plays a mediocre schedule. Unless they lose they're probably not going to drop any. So if the # 1 & #2 teams lose a game to good opponents...well you get the picture.

There should be no rankings until the 5th week.

And call it what it is: the Graduate Assistant Poll. How many coaches have the time to watch the games of non-opponents? Here's a clue: it begins with a Z and ends with a O and has an ER in between.
