Bernard Hopkins Vs Joe Calzaghe - Light heavyweight bout, Las Vegas. Starts in about 2 and a half hours.

Who's your money on?

I reckon Calzaghe will win before it goes the distance. Hopkins is 43 and although Calzaghe is nearing the end of his career at 36, the difference will prove too much I think.

8th round TKO to the Welshman.

Went the distance but won on split decision and I don't think Hopkins can have any serious complaints about losing as Joe wanted it more and was actually boxing to win whereas Bernard looked like he was doing the bare minimum.

Hopkins was simply out-boxed for the last 6 or 7 rounds. He started off pretty well in the first round by putting Calzaghe down on the canvas for only the third time in his career and it certainly seemed to shake him a bit. However, once he got himself into the fight, I only saw one outcome. The age difference must have been key cos Hopkins was constantly holding on and going backwards.
