Big Ten football

Ohio St #1, Michigan #2, and Wisconsin surprising everyone continues to move up the charts to #21. I thought my beloved Badgers would have a bad year with all the young players this year, but they have turned my doubts around. They have proven to be a pretty solid team all the way around.

It's too bad Ohio St and Michigan have to play each other the last game of the season. That should be the National Championship game. Oh well, I guess that just means the Big Ten will have one more bowl win this year.
So my prediction is Ohio St will beat Michigan on Nov 18. (I'll be rooting for Michigan, sorry Bry) Ohio St will be National Champs. Michigan will beat Auburn or West Virginia. Wisconsin will dominate whomever they play. Iowa will bounce back and get a bowl game. Penn St will also make a bowl game.

Not to bad for the Big Ten. One National Champ, and it least three other bowl wins.

They should call it the "Graduate Assistant's Poll" rather than the "USAToday/Coaches Poll". How many Div1 coaches have the time on a Saturday afternoon to watch any games?

Answer: unemployed ones.

So throw that one out and where are your Big10 teams?

Don't get me wrong, OS looks damn good. But except for Texas, Iowa, and Mich all the rest of their schedule are dogs (maybe Penn St is OK). Come on - Cincinnati? Bowling Green? Mich St? Indiana? Illios? Northwestern? replace those with any 6 from the SEC or the Pac 10 and when they run the table I'd be very impressed.

(Note: hook is baited....line is in the water...Bry is eyeing it...will he bite? ...he wants to...here he comes...I've almost got him.... Ain't this fun? Long live the BCS... )

Ever been to Canada? You take your $20 bill and go north and you have about $25. That's Tressel ball for you. Add about 10 pts per game if it were any other coach. Northern Illinois was favored in the MAC. Michigan State turned out to be Michigan State again.

SEC: Vandy, Miss., Miss. St., Kentucky, Alabama.
PAC 10: Stanford (winless), Wash St., Az St., Oregon State, UCLA

Look at my sig. It will show you Ohio State's dominance. The winner of the greatest rivalry in all of sports is the national semi-final, and it is here and Tressel owns Michigan. I am going to be so wasted that day!!

Ohio State football is a religion in Columbus. I bleed Scarlet and Gray and defecate buckeyes. I can remember watching the 1979 Gator Bowl with my dad when Woody hit that Clemson kid. I hated Cooper and love Tressel. It was a great day when my son asked for an OSU shirt.

Let Texas play Ohio State again...they had a freshman QB and he's still getting used to the new team. No doubt Ohio State is the best...but I bet Texas could put up a better fight now.

Against the young defense that is geling into the nation's best? And don't forget, the soon to be Heisman winner hasn't even begun to run yet.
