8 NFL games on 1 screen?

I just heard about the new NFL package from directv that says it lets you watch 8 games on 1 screen. Here’s where I saw it: www.heybuttercup.com I have the sunday ticket package, got six TV’s set up here and all my feeds running through a separate mixer so I can bring up whatever slice we’re watching at the time and listen to it, or just keep them all low with one featured like a sports bar. I need to simplify, it’s costing too much. How does the 8 games in 1 work? Anyone have that superfan package?

Heh, sure, but it looks like you have a long way to go - I live in the Bay Area.

I asked directv, I think the 8 in 1 will be a good feature, but what's even more important: I can use my other TV if I get the superfan package. My HDTV. :) :) My 67" HDTV. cuz the only way to get games in HD from directv is superfan, so that clinches it. If anyone has it, I forgot to ask this: how do they manage the audio for the 8 games in 1? Is it silent, or a mix, or what?

My dad's got it for the second strait year, and my brother just subscribed to it this week. It's mostly just to let you see which game to watch, really. They're really small and there's music playing (last year the game in the top left had sound).

That said, SuperFan is awesome. The channel with all the games isn't anything too special, but in can be helpful, and the Red Zone channel is great if you're not overly interested in anything else. The best thing, though, is the Shortucts. In usually about 15-20 minutes you can rewatch a game, giving you a chance to see every play of every game every week. It's worth the extra 100 bucks to me easily.

You can watch all at once, but only have sound for one. You can move the box (much like in the guide) to surround a different game and the sound will kick on for that game.
