Australia 'ready for 2010 World Cup'

AUSTRALIA should be "opportunistic" and offer to host the 2010 World Cup finals if South Africa fails to meet construction deadlines, Football Federation Australia chief executive John O'Neill said today.

ps : I hope south africa will manage and host the world cup .Africa deserves it .

Really? After South America gets it in 2014, FIFA will stop the rotation of the Tourney. Then it will probably be a European affair which means the Americans will never win another Cup match.

I think RSA ahould get it. You and I can meet at yustr's house and then we can all fly to Durban and stay at Horse's place. We can watch all of the Durban matches and then have him drive us to follow our team(s).
