Congrats to Floyd Landis on winning!! The debate question is now that an American has won the tour for the eighth year in a row, where does this put French cycling and the French media? As long as Lance Armstrong was winning, the French could whine and cry about steriod usage. Now that another American has taken home the yellow jersey, further accusations would invalidate any previous ones as anti-American sentiment.

Add that the highest finishing Frenchman was 15th (or so???).

It was an exciting final weekend. Unlike in years past when Lance had it all but wrapped up days before.

It is truly amazing what they can do. Just try going 30 mph on a bike - for 100 yards. These guys do it for 150 miles. WOW
