Moussaoui sentenced to life in prison saying "America, you lost". How did this happen....reactions?

Radical Islam needs another martyr like Bill Clinton needs another intern.

Let the rest of the terroists see this and realize that maybe you won't get all of those virgins.

Jurists are just oridnary people and it is hard to decide someone's fate. If you have ever been on a jury, you would know.

He wanted death. He even tried to lie to get it. Didn't get it.

We'll never really know if he really knew about the plot or just wants us to think he was a bigger player than he actually was. If that's the case, we're hitting O'fer as far a 9/11 related prosecutions. In any case we're only 1'fer.

You don't become a suicide bomber because you're afraid to die you do it because you've failed at life and you want to die. It's an easy way out for them. I think death would have been letting him off easy.

You want him to die based on the chance that your version of the after life is the right one. What if there is no after life? what is he does get those 17 virgins? what if it's a buddhist thing and be becomes a dog or something and gets another chance?

No no, I fell much better that he's getting hell on earth rather than rolling the dice on the christian version of hell.

I am riding the fence on this one to be honest with you. Now I see where you all are coming from in not getting what he wants, but when I look at the tape of 9-11 and see those planes crashing into those buildings, and I want this man to die. The reason that this sub-human was not sentenced to death was not because we wanted him to suffer and live, it was because our judges and the two Jews were "softies" (liberals) and didn't believe in capital punishment, no matter how hard you tried to convince them that this man should be sentenced to death the wouldn't budge.

I don't think it's because the judges and the "Jews" were softies, but moreso because the prosecution itself was trying to dissuade capital punishment because this man wanted it so much.

I'm sure solitary confinement for the rest of his life will give him more than enough time to think about whatever he's done.

That, and if he were killed, the media would have a field day leading up to his execution.
