Primary Time!!

May 2 is primary time in Ohio. I have no issues on my ballot, but the GOP governor's race is going to be a good one.

It could be interesting here in CT as we'll see if Lieberman's move to the center costs him the nomination. But it's not until August.

I will vote on May 2nd.

Other than the Governers race (Ohio) is there anything else going on? I know I have told my family members to side with Blackwell over Petro. There are some congressional primarys going on but they have not been advertising very well. Its all Blackwell and Petro.

He (Blackwell) did a good job of handling the attacks that were accusing the state of voter fraud.

Newhouse, I obviously am a Blackwell guy too. Petro's attack ads are sickening me. I am almost interested to see where Ried fall in on this one.

I'll tell you one thing, and don't tell yustr, I'd vote for Strickland (D) before I'd vote for Petro (R).

That reminds me of a dilemma faced by my Grandmother many years ago; Harold Washington was the Democrat running for mayor of Chicago. Harold was black. My dear 85 year old Grandma's dilemma was to vote for a black man or a Republican - neither of which she had ever done before. She finally decided that being black was an accident of birth but being a Republican was...well it showed lack of judgment.
