..............................................hmmm... Due to the American presence in Afghanistan, Pakistan is suffering a lot.. We are fighting their war and still they say DO MORE?? What do more?? This is not our war.. Terrorists didn't attacked us.. They attacked them and now after facing defeat in Afghanistan and Iraq and they are trying to pull the war in Pakistan.. But let me make clear, Pakistan is not Iraq or Afghanistan.. We may fight with one another but we are ONE against the external enemy..

This is a very touchy video.. Pakistan progressed by leaps and bounds.. We made atom bombs without any external support.. That is due to our brilliant scientists and engineers.. AND WE ARE PROUD OF THEM AND WE SALUTE THEM.. The video said it rightly that we reached there where the world never even dreamed of.. We are not a meaningless country.. Our country came into being on an ideology and that ideology is Our dear religion Islam.. Our elders suffered a lot to make Pakistan.. But now the whole world discriminates with us only because we have the Atomic bomb?? Only because our Army is in the top ten armies in the world?? AND ONLY BECAUSE WE ARE MUSLIMS??

But I find it odd that you think we are losing... do you want us to lose this war? Because if that happens do you really think that the terrorists will stop attacking your country?

While Pakistan is certainly not insignificant - it's hard to call 180 million people insignificant lol - you have a long way to go in terms of cultural and social advancement. Illiteracy and poverty are still problems. The literacy rate is only 49.9% for the overall population and is widely disparate between men (63%) and women (36%). 24% of the population is below the poverty line.

Why you trumpet the glories of having nuclear weapons while still having significant problems socially and economically is beyond me. Nukes were invented over 60 years ago - they are hardly new tech. Modern societies are not measured by stockpiles of weapons, either... The economic and social well-being of its citizens are far more important than piling up a stack of weapons to be used to kill other humans. Who do you plan on using the nukes against anyway? I wouldn't suggest the US, China, Russia, Israel, or any of their close allies . They have more nukes than you and better armies and air forces to deliver them with .

Well you said that the social and economic value of Pakistanis is comparatively a bit weak..which is certainly true..but do you think that the features like social and economic values should be the basis of DISCRIMINATION among people..??
And by the way these things like social and economic values are temporary..not genetic that they can't be improved..

No, put simply. Pakistanis are not worth less because of these issues, but trumpeting nuclear weaponry amidst that just shows that their priorities are in the wrong place. The expenses used to develop nukes could have been better used developing infrastructure, educating their people, and helping create jobs and alleviate poverty. Instead, they spend a ton of money on 'inventing' '60s tech...

Of course they are temporary and can be improved - that is my entire point. They should be focused on improving these rather than figuring out how to create bombs to kill large numbers of people...

Well, let me make you familiar with the fact that none of the bombs and such objects in Pakistan are being used to kill the innocent people in any region of the globe. Rather they are being used on Talibans and Al-Qaeids which are terrorists and the enemy of the entire world. The USA is also using their bombs on the same purpose.
And I totally agree with your vision that expenses should be used for the betterment of economic and social lifestyles of people rather than on weapons..but the fact is that the weapons in Pakistan are being used for the good of the entire world.i.e. in the WAR AGAINST TERRORISM!

Yeah I agree that there was a time when Pakistan Army wanted to make a "peace deal" with the Taliban in which the Taliban were supposed to live in a peaceful manner. For, a problem should be first tried to solve by mutual discussions... But now the scenario has completely changed. The Pakistan Army is now totally anti to the Taliban because Taliban didn't act upon the clauses of the "peace deal".
So, these days Pakistan Army is frequently fighting against the Taliban which is not only worthy for Pakistan, but worthy for the entire world.

Yeah our country is making progress by leaps and bounds.. And Atomic bomb is like our backbone.. It is very much needed to keep the balance in that region because India is also having these weapons.. It is also necessary to keep the peace between the two countries because both will act mature knowing that both have the atomic weapons..

Actually this is a war which cannot be won.. For winning this war America has to win the hearts of the people there in Afghanistan .. And look Drew terrorists didn't attacked us before we went into this war.. Why they attacked us after we gave our airstrips and roadways to the nato forces?? And jumped directly into this war?? This was not and this is not our war.. We were not attacked on 9/11 ( And that is many times proved an inside job). But the nato forces are pulling this war into Pakistan.. I am not sure but I have read many times that America is in more worst condition in Afghanistan than in Vietnam

We are not talking about the sects here.. We are talking about the wave of terrorism that spread in Pakistan after the arrival of America in Afghanistan.. And there are and were very few incidents of the sect discrimination.. And outside forces were always involved in such fights to destabilize Pakistan...

The atomic bomb as a deterrent may work, but has no bearing on the economic and social progress - unless it creates a significant number of jobs, which somehow I doubt... Is a war between India and Pakistan likely?

I believe that the world would be much better off without nukes, due to the high potential for complete disaster, but getting rid of them would be a "you first" proposal: no one will do it until everyone else has... Now it is simply a competition as to who has the better delivery system of missiles, long range bombers, etc.

Perhaps countries should just "act mature" without having to be threatened with nuclear annihilation...

9/11 is many times proven an inside job? By whom? For the most part, only crackpot conspiracy theorists seriously argue that Bush ran planes into the WTC in order to start a war in Iraq & Afghanistan so that he could get oil cheaper. That scenario is so ridiculous it could be the plot of an Austin Powers film. All of the "evidence" of the conspiracy consists of conjecture and interpretations of unclear video footage (IE a "missile" flying into the Pentagon instead of a plane).

Explain to me this: What was Osama's motivation for putting out those videos, claiming responsibility for the attack, etc? Just a mental dude in charge of a militant organization trying to get some attention? Good idea Osama - draw attention to yourself and get your host country bombed to ****. That really helps his cause, doesn't it? I don't believe anyone capable of rising to the top of any organization is that incredibly stupid.

As far as the atomic bombs are concerned, they were made to avoid the threatening by the other countries(India in particular). And the analysis show that this atomic bomb in Pakistan is the fact which marks a question mark on India's plans to destabilize Pakistan. And they also say that if Pakistan and India can live with peace and in a friendly manner, then the primary possible reason for this is that they both have the atomic power. If either of them was not an atomic power, there was the possibility of threatening which could have lead to a war!
