A key House committee chairman on Friday threatened to bypass moderate Democrats who are holding up the health care reform bill and bring the package straight to the floor, in the latest showdown on health care that is dividing Congress and Democratic party ranks.

this plan is vague and ill conceived. Hopefully it will fail.

They want to be quick to pass something then hope to fix it after the fact and as they go, his is not how it should be done especially in a recession such as this.

healthcare requires a shrewdness politicians do not have the stomach for.

What the dem leadership was trying to do was get a bill passed before the recess, so the Congress critters wouldn't have to face their constituents. They know they're in trouble over this.

If I had voted for these guys ( which would happen when Hell freezes over ) I would tell them that I hired you to come up with a viable health care reform . . Now, either go back and do that, or I'll replace you.

Whether I or other Conservatives agree or not, elections have consequences and the voters spoke very clearly that they wanted Health Care Reform.

Pelosi and company have apparently decided that their overwhelming win gives her liscense to bring other liberal issues into the legislation, and they need to be held accountable for that decision. Hopefully, that will happen over the August break.
