Teach me about Obama.

although the TV is right behind me my eyes are fixed to my computer so any glimpse of Obama on the TV is ignored and scince i live in australia there is literally no news about it at all.
i was speaking to a freind about obama (he lives in the US) yesterday i found it stagering really however we couldn't really talk long at all. he said that the media 'covers it up' and dosn't show whats really happening (biased).

now i found all this information very intreging, it was the first time i heard anything scince Obama got a dog

please teach me about Obama!

No one answered your question, or, should I say, Taught you about Barrack Obama. He is a socialist. You can look that up if you do not understand fully what that means. President Obama believes that the government can take care of people better than they can take care of themselves. Which, of coarse, is silly, not to mention impossible. He wants to tax the American people into revolution. The problem with socialism, is that you eventually run out of other people's money. It all sounds good to some people, when they hear on the news that they will get something for free, but remember, nothing, is free.

The rest of us - on both side - were having fun with this thread. We all know that you cannot teach someone about Obama (or anyone else) in a few sentences. Yet you felt it necessary to try. OK, if you're going to do that then support your claims. Otherwise you're just flamming which violates the rules of the PS.

I apologize if it sounded like I was flaming, not my intention. Anyone with internet access can find the proof themselves, or watch the evening news. We now have government majority owned banks, and car companys, and soon probably nationalized healthcare. It's all there for anyone to see. But yes, having fun with it is important, and I am sorry for spoiling that.
