I think she wants to tour the 48 states. You can't be on talk shows in New York every week, speak at tea parties, or NRA meetings while Governor of Alaska without looking as if you are shirking your responsibilities.

Also you can collect money with less oversight and scrutiny as a private citizen if I am not mistaken.

This has to be driving the Foxhounds crazy . . their frontrunner goes down in flames!. They are trying their best to put a positive spin on her resignation, but it seems that everyone is waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Like most of Palin's speeches, it's a mix of platitudes, slogans, lies, distortions and incoherency. The only thing that could have made it more satisfying for us Raving Pinkos would have been an admission of an affair with Mark Sanford.

No one brought here down except herself. She didn't help her cause any by being an out of control idiot. I thought McCain had some common sense, but when he picked this "no one from nowhere," I wonder how much sense he had in the first place. She was made by McCain in the political sense and she will die in the political sense with McCain.

If she runs, she will be the best tool the liberals (ouch) have to defeat the Republicans yet another time. She is distracting to the real purpose and cause of conservatives and does not stand a chance of being the nominee in 2012 IMHO.

This is the kind of person who I would not want babysitting my dog, let alone run a state or a country. To choose between her and Obama is like asking if you want to die by the electric chair or would you prefer to die by a firing squad. Tough choice!

Please Republicans, don't nominate her because I don't want to have to fight my inner wisdom which says vote for a Republican in 2012.

Let's see: FOX is the highest rated cable news channel (by 3X). O'reilly and Hanity rule their time slots. Limbaugh is by far the most popular radio personality. Rupert Murdoch. etc, etc...MSM?

Who are they. ABC/CBS/NBC, Time Magazine? Does anyone even pay attention to these anymore? Oh wait, its got to be Vanity Fare.

So its the MSM's fault that she failed during all her interviews during the election? Its the MSM's fault that she hasn't published an original thought since then? (Actually ever!) It's the MSM's fault that even her resignation speech was incoherent?

I hope she decides to stay home and raise her kids. I would then gain a little repsect for her views on what's important.

Well, I still like the radical idea that a good starting point for a revitalized conservative movement would be admitting that their policies actually haven't been fiscally responsible, and they haven't delivered smaller government. How about dropping all those sanctimonious efforts to erase the line between Church & State just to court some votes?
