Judge Calls Out Government on Holding Innocent "Terrorist"

Cheney: the gift that keeps on giving. And you wonder why they hate us. Oh yeah I forget, its because of our freedoms.

Re: Judge Calls Out Government on Holding Innocent "Terrorist"

Hmm, interesting story. According to the logic of this judge, he should never have been suspected of being a terrorist, but he still voluntarily:

Quote:
Rassak, a Syrian, had admitted to U.S. interrogators that in 2000, he stayed for several days at a guesthouse used by Taliban and al-Qaida fighters, where he helped clean weapons, and then briefly attended a terror training camp.
Let me get this straight, he was voluntarily cleaning guns that were used to kill Americans, and attended their terrorist camp on his own free will, but was just an innocent person who happened to be in the wrong place at the right time.

Give me a break, this was no babe in the woods who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Kind of reminds me of those who are convicted of a crime in prison and immediately find "God" so they can say to the judge, "I am a changed man since I found God, let me go!"

I am not saying this one was treated improperly or properly, because I don't have all the facts in this case (as you don't), but there is reasonable suspicion that he initially was certainly guilty of being willing to assist (no one forced him to attend the terror training camp) those who had a primary goal of killing Americans. BTW, the main purpose of the terror training camps is the kill and maim people and preferably Americans.

Why was he supposedly tortured by the Taliban as reported? Heck, no one knows, maybe this one found "God" when he was preparing to "kill" Americans in his terror training camp that he voluntarily attended. Therefore, he no longer wanted to go on so he asked to be released and we all know their is no "justice" in the Taliban mentality.

Even liberals should get this picture.

I like how Cheney was blamed but its Obama's prosecutors arguing to keep him in the prison he wants to close...

"I disagree!" wrote the judge, adding that U.S. officials are "taking a position that defies common sense."

these are people who have a shortage of women because they killed newborn girls, and now pay a reverse dowry to marry. Common sense may not always factor here.
