Obama beer sparks controversy

President Barack Obama is getting some flack and some praise after enjoying a beer.

He was at an NBA basketball game and ordered a brew. Images of Mr. Obama enjoying a beer have angered some people.

One caller to WWL complained, "People are losing 5, 10, 20 thousand dollars a day in the stock market, and he's sitting there drinking a beer!" She also said, "It's insulting... there's a lot of people suffering." She insisted President Obama should not publicly have fun during a time of so much pain.

This one just made me laugh. Its bad enough CNN and other news agencies are freaking about what kind of dog they are getting, or whether Michelle went sleeveless or not, but complaining because someone is relaxing with a beer?

True. Of all the issues to cause a controversy, a beer is not one of them. Unless he's under 18. And in that case, why is he president?

Ohh man I'd only worry if Obama had 6 beers at that basketball game.

I think CNN staff should pay more attention their spouses or signifigant others because obviously there were raised by firece Russian wolves and had no love in their childhood

I think there was contreversy where the current kinfg or Queen of the land of the neverending story had a Beer and her Ferret was given to another family becasue they were undage.

If thats true then Obama should give up his dog he owns
