Michigan Republicans admit, in court documents, to efforts to illegally disenfranchise voters whose homes have been foreclosed.

I am surprised that you agreed that the republican in Michigan were wrong ,But how can that be? The Republican Party swore over and over again in the media that they never planned such a thing. That is quite obvious, sure they lied just like Democrats do (but you would never admit that) all the time. I don't care what party they are in, this is criminal behavior and they should pay the penalty of hard time.

There is no "clean" party IMHO. The US deserves better than what we have to choose from in political leaders (McCain and Obama) that are offered by the traditional parties. I have said that before and will say it again and again.

Basic political tactics:

Demo's = increase voters
Rep's = suppress voters

Almost never the other way around - at least during my political lifetime.

Demo's = increase voters even if dead, living in another state, registered 30 times already, at least old enough to be in kindergarten, or employing groups (ACORN) like we all know about to do it for them.

Rep's = suppress voters who are not eligible to vote.

One does wonder what the dem's are afraid of when the FBI starts investigating voter fraud. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear!

Our government has to do a better job of registering people to vote. That way there would be less need to rely on private registration drives, largely being conducted by well-meaning private organizations that use low-paid workers.
