I'll beat all our republican apologists to the punch: saying "But Clinton did it too" only gets you three "Aw shucks" , two "By golly's", and one "Gosh dern it" but no PS points.

The worst president ever. Can there be any doubt?

How is it any different then any other president, I'm sure Reagan did as well, as did Bush Sr. and Clinton, for their party.

It's illegal that's the point. But if that's not good enough, its unethical too. But you must have missed that part.

The Hatch Act prohibits political activity by Federal employees. LINK But you'll no doubt focus on the exemption for political appointees. All fine and good but there's also the ethical standard that prohibits the use of government money for political purposes.

Couldn't find the ethics standard as well... the link was useful with the hatch act... but still don't see an ethics prohibition on OSC's site, or a google search.
