Kudos to McCain (seriously)

Some american voters are UNinformed , i guess foxnews did a good job at brainwashing people.

McCain booed after trying to calm anti-Obama crowd
News from The Associated Press

Quote:
"I don't trust Obama," a woman said. "I have read about him. He's an Arab."

McCain shook his head in disagreement, and said:

"No, ma'am. He's a decent, family man, a citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with (him) on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign is all about."

Shame on you miss , shame on you !

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

Hes been taking alot of heat lately and losing votes because of his attack campaign. This so called decency was just an act...part of his campaign strategy.

He had to do something to try to get media attention away from Palins abuse of power news.

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

Does it not worry you that you have no idea of how nice McCain is, because his image is so manipulated by the campaign. So who exactly would enter the Whitehouse? Would it be a team effort?
If the campaign has gone so far with attack tactics, and McCain only just stands up to correct it; how good will he be at standing up against the lobyists and pressure groups?
If Darth Vader does something nice for Luke Skywalker in the last scene; does that negate all the stars that he has destroyed?

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

I saw that yesterday and I think McCain was truly shaken by it. Perhaps he's just now realizing the Pandora's Box he's allowed his campaign to open. At least, I want to very much believe that, because what's been happening with his supporters has become truly frightening.

But that was just the first instance of him trying to undo what he has begun. I don't think any of us will know for sure if the old John McCain has resurfaced (in this regard) until we see what goes on over the next few days, and if Palin shuts up too.

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

How could anyone not know that this would have been the obvious result of him and Palin shrieking about "palling around with terrorists"? How completely naive of them to think that that strategy would NOT have this result. They sure did stir up the base.

You're absolutely right. But I'm still trying to hold out hope that McCain is now sincerely realizing the error of his ways by allowing those same people who smeared him in 2000 and the Rove people to run his campaign.

But, I've always tried to be a "glass is half-full" kind of person until the facts overwhelmingly point to an empty glass. The next few days, and how McCain-Palin and their surrogates act from now on, will determine it for me.

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

I can see McCains trouble ........ he cant withstand too much focus on the economy ...... he allowed his campaign people to attack Obama with that terrorist horse manure in an effort to distract people from the economy.

he is floundering now ............... whats he really needs now is a BIG news break from of Iraq or Afganistan.........

Do you think he's got bin Laden in a hidey-hole someplace and he's just waiting for the right time? After all, he says he knows just how to get him. But apparently he ain't telling until he moves into WH.

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

Attacking Ayers never backfired on him... people just want it too.

it was all this stuff from previous stories about Obama being what he is not.

And who are these people???

Quote:
These Republicans, speaking on condition of anonymity to avoid angering McCain, said the campaign's attempt at this late stage to plant doubts about Obama's associations with 1960s-era radical William Ayers, makes the 72-year-old McCain come off as angry, grouchy and desperate. Source

Re: Kudos to McCain (seriously)

its too late in the game for character assignation....... that seed has to take root loooooong before mid October.

if he has Bin Laden in a root cellar somewhere ....... now is the time to bring him out :)

McCain needs "something" for the voters to focus on other than the Economy or Bashing Obama ........ neither of those are working ....... and the Palin chasers / distractors have grown bored and tired with that .....................

he is like the wizard of OZ right now ........ the people are starting to see the "little man behind the curtain" even though John is telling them not to look !
