As for the government taking over: it relies on one fact that is not in evidence: competence. If the Army and Marines cannot control a country of 30 million. On what basis does anyone think they could control a country of 300?

On the other hand we 300 million have willingly given up a lot of our rights and freedoms recently for the allusion of security. So there may not be a need for the Army at all; we'll just line up for the slaughter like the good little sheep we are. Baaaahhhh Baaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
