Ohio: Board of Elections won't seek to prosecute voters who switched parties

"Voters who switch parties in Ohio primaries must sign affidavits pledging allegiance to their new party. Lying on the forms is a fifth-degree felony punishable by six to 12 months in jail and a $2,500 fine."

Re: Ohio: Board of Elections won't seek to prosecute voters who switched parties

"Strategic voting" is a time honored tactic used by both parties. It isn't like the Republicans invented this concept just for the current election. Heck, they aren't smart enough. You Righties really need to get out more if you think that McCain's "four more years of the same old" is going to be compelling come election day.

Re: Ohio: Board of Elections won't seek to prosecute voters who switched parties

You can vote for any candidate you like: as long as I get to do the nominating. It was true in Russia. It was true in Chicago. It's true now.
