Internet gambling is a target of Patrick bill

Mass. Governor wants online poker players jailed for 2 years, fined $25K in same bill that would open 3 new state casinos.

Playing some cards online is clearly a jail-worthy offense. Good thing the jails are pretty empty, so we have room for these hardened criminals.

We should add a rider onto that bill, stating that the governor has to stick a paperclip into a high voltage socket, in both holes and hold it there for 5 miuntes. Failure to do so results in his bill being trashed.

I think this is what you should require a onlnie betting system to have in order to legally operate within America, they should require a valid CC, if a 13 year old boy gets ahold of his dads CC and uses it to gamble their savings away then the dad should of been paying more attention. But to get a CC you have to be 18. Not only that I gamble online occisionally.

I like to play texas hold em on party poker and have in the past even under the age of 18, expect with me I won cash, I always came out with a deeper pocket then when I started so it was never an issue.

BTW, seriously add a rider to this bill demanding he shock himself with some high volts and amps

Nasty thing the internet. Can be addictive. Better ban as much as you can on it.

Re: Internet gambling is a target of Patrick bill

lol, personally the internet must stay unregulated as much as possible. THe internet should remain the true free medium for which all to communicate regradless of how stupid they are, how smart they are, how much they offend you or what.

I'm aganist any ban on gambling on the internet. Sure if a company wants to legally do business online with customers based in America it should be required to attmept to assure that its consumers meet the same requirements as one in a casio would be forced to meet. However no more then that.

If you make it illegal which some have, your going push it underground. There are so many ways to transport espcially small ammounts of cash under the radar its not funny. Any example is a site could set up a paypal system where it accepts money VIA paypal then credits it to you VIA paypal again, could lie your *** off on what it was, and so could the return payment. However when you do this your going run into issues of scammers taking advtanges of an unsecure system.

Let internet be legal, let the consumers decide and let them live their life and get over it.
