Problem is cat works purely based on instincts.... humans are expected to supress those natural desires for the sake of a functioning society....

They don't, fighting them over only creates strife.

If the women of those countries feel they want to rebel and change the system then let them. Ours did and they got what they wanted.

Also it wasn't until recently (history wise) that this in the west stopped... 1919 is when women got the right to vote thats when their rights started picking up. However thats just roughly about 100 years ago. Whose to say the muslim culuter won't change drastically in another 100 years?

But as far as i'm concerned thats the countrys culture, its down in their own soverign nation where I have no legal power nor anything else therefore let them do as they do.

yes as I stated, it was in our culture as you just proved, but we got over it and now punish spouse abuse, women aren't second class citizens and most (because yes there is still some) dont live in fear of having their eyes burn't out by acid.

They need to change their ways... everyone else has, arab, persian and middle eastern women are some of the most beautiful women in the world, why should they be horribly scared because a man got angry... why should they be emotionally scared by getting raped and then thrown in jail because their rape was out of wedlock.

This is BS... culture or not, its stupid, and the great UN and all its power should be working on that type of change... heck its the democrats wet dream to do that... unfortunatly the UN lets countries like Syria run the human rights wing.

You are correct tho about its the nations right to do as they please, but for any of your female family members that go over to those countries and get raped acid to the face... would you just shrug it off and go ehhh... its thier culture, so its their right?

It's a much more productive to ruin relations in the Middle East by boneheaded stunts like our invasion of Iraq, our linkage of Iran to the Apocalypse, our failure to support the democratic government of Lebanon with significant aid before Hezbollah and Iran stepped in to fill the void, our unquestioning support of Israel no matter what policies the country adopted...
